Suntory: Yamazaki 12 Year Old 43% 25ml
Whisky
Whisky of the Week #24
Yamazaki 12 Year Old 43%
Yamazaki is Suntory's flagship single malt whisky, from Japan's first and oldest malt distillery near Kyoto. This 12 year old first came onto the market some 38 years ago , and realistically the first seriously marketed Japanese single malt.
How does it taste?
Nose: Oily and zesty, with fruity notes.
Palate: Soft, sweetness and spiciness developing into citrus and tropical flavours .
Finish: Clean fruity and fresh.
Why did I choose this whisky?
With our ability to have people drink at the Compass, all be it in limited numbers, six months of distance sharing whisky has left a lot to catch up on. There is nothing like a serious whisky with friends to chat about and Yamazaki often comes up in conversation so here it is.

.
That drink is not on at the moment, so it cannot be rated.
