<h1>The <span class="uk-text-primary">Compass </span> Alehouse</h1>
<div><p>The Compass Alehouse is a multi award winning micropub in Gravesend, open since September 2014. There is no bar to queue at: take a seat and we will come to you.</p>
<p>At least four real ales are drawn by gravity straight from the cask, chosen from select Kent and UK breweries and changing constantly, so it runs rather like a rolling beer festival. We keep real ciders alongside them, usually a dry, a medium, and something different or fruity.</p>
<p>The whisky list is one of the widest available locally, taking in all the Scottish regions along with Irish, Indian, Japanese and American bottlings. Whisky tasting evenings run regularly, and booked evenings and events can be arranged.</p>
<p>Beyond the drinks wall there is a covered courtyard for when the weather turns, and a snug lined with old maps and prints. Dogs are welcome throughout.</p></div>
