Tempest brew in Tweedbank in the Scottish Borders, having started out in 2010 in a converted dairy on Winchester Row in nearby Kelso. Gavin and Annika Meiklejohn founded the brewery after returning from New Zealand, where Gavin had begun home-brewing; the move to Tweedbank in 2015 brought a bigger brewhouse and room for a bottling line. The range runs from session IPAs to barrel-aged strong ales and stouts, including beers finished in bourbon and brandy casks.
