Stancill are an independent brewery in Sheffield, brewing cask ale, lager and keg beer.
Their first beer was Barnsley Bitter, still made to the Oakwell Brewery recipe with the original yeast strain, which is the thread back to Barnsley's own brewing that South Yorkshire drinkers know it for.
