Burning Sky brew and blend at Place Barn in Firle, at the foot of the South Downs in East Sussex. Mark Tranter founded it in 2013 after fourteen years at Dark Star, and the brewery works in stainless steel and in oak: alongside the hoppy beers there are farmhouse ales and mixed-fermentation beers matured in foudres.
